Terms of Service
These terms of service apply to the Hobby Dataslate app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices and web, created by The Whiskey Reclusiam (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a Freemium service.
Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the Application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Application.
Use of the Application
The Application is provided for personal, non-commercial use as a miniature hobby tracking tool. You agree to use the Application only for its intended purpose and in compliance with all applicable laws.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
User-Generated Content
You retain ownership of any content you create within the Application, including but not limited to collection data, photos, notes, and army lists. By using the Application, you grant the Service Provider a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.
You agree not to upload content that is unlawful, offensive, or infringes on the rights of others.
Subscriptions and Payments
The Application offers optional paid subscriptions (Premium and Hero tiers) that provide additional features. Subscriptions are billed through Google Play, the Apple App Store, or web checkout and auto-renew until cancelled.
- Payment is charged to your Google account, Apple ID, or other payment method at confirmation of purchase.
- You may manage or cancel your subscription at any time through Google Play → Subscriptions, through Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on iOS, or through the web billing portal in Settings.
- No refunds will be issued for partial billing periods.
Intellectual Property
Hobby Dataslate is an unofficial, fan-made hobby tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Games Workshop Ltd or any other tabletop game publisher or miniature manufacturer.
All Warhammer 40,000 product names, logos, brands, and other trademarks are the property of their respective trademark holders. Datasheet and box set data are community-maintained and may be incomplete or out of date.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The Application is provided "AS IS" without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
The Service Provider does not warrant that the Application will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service Provider shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Application.
Account Termination
The Service Provider reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Application at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. You may request deletion of your account and data at any time by contacting thewhiskeyreclusiam40k@gmail.com or visiting the account deletion page.
Changes to Terms
These Terms of Service may be updated from time to time. The Service Provider will notify you of any material changes by updating this page. Your continued use of the Application after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
These terms are effective as of 2026-07-13.
Governing Law
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles.
